Unwanted Visitors

I have been very slow in blogging lately due to to the amount of time and effort it is taking to keep our fields horse free.

Back on the 13th of February i posted a photo of a gelding which had as I thought been abandoned,it was soon  joined by 5 pregnant mares.

Since then the horses have been illegally put onto our fields ,we remove them and they are then put back sometimes within hours. We are on our own dealing with the problem as the law in this country does not make Fly Grazing an offence. It is causing a great deal of stress and  we are never sure what we will find when we wake up.

The horses are in a very poor condition.

Razor wire has been considered, but we do not want it to look like a combat zone.

On a brighter note I have done just a little art/craft
