SPRING,FOX,SEA

Another set of ATCs arrived today this time from Kitty in the Netherlands who hosted a Spring swap.My two very original cards were from.

on the left Laurie in Canada who has used sheet music and a die cut for the background .  She has painted a very happy bird who seems to be singing to the flower.

The yellow card is from Monika in Poland who has used embellishments and has been very clever in creating grass.

I have not created anything since the tags two days ago so I will show pictures of a wall hanging I did many years ago possibly 20 or more.

It is done with a rug hook and I used fabric, plastic bags, and rubber gloves many years before
recycling became fashionable

actually the rubber gloves are beginning to perish  and break down

This photo is not very good quality but I found it amusing that I was taking a photo of a picture I had made of a boat, and when I looked at it afterwards I saw that there was a very good reflection of a trawler going out of the harbour.

This is a picture of a fox that I keep in my bathroom

You may have guessed he is in the wood grain of the flooring.

FISH ,BUNNIES AND TAGS

When you are hosting a swap it is very exciting waiting for the post and when it arrived today it was a triple whammy. I had my monthly journal pages this time from Anne in Canada. The prompts were   Rebirth/Renewal

Anne has used acrylic for the background  and a collage created with Aquarelle and pen has been added and to finish it has been rubber stamped.

The second page  prompt. You Are My Sunshine .

This is another collage and ink piece with rubber stamping. I love the 2 little people skipping in the sun.

I also received  another set of fish this time from Mary in Florida.

It might be easier to say what Mary has not used  this list is so long but these cards need to be seen to fully appreciate them. Some of the items Mary has used include. Tumble dryer sheets, thread,Dover images, acrylic paints, glitter glue, puffy paint and more.

The other item in the post was a box from Monika in Australia.

I knew it was going to contain Dotee bunnies and fish ATCs but it did not stop me from being excited.

I knew I would not be disappointed

MONIKA WAS KIND ENOUGH TO ENCLOSE SOME EPHEMERA
Monika has created a little fishy scene using Soy sauce fish bottle, shower puff, scavenged fishing line, gold leaf, wooden beads, and various pens. This could have been very embarrassing as I am writing this I have just discovered a hidden secret with these cards which I had not noticed. So I have just stopped to take a photo.

This is the inside of the ATCs opened out.BRILLIANT !

Also in this box of delights   were my Easter Bunny Dotees and I shall name them after there creators.

PATTY

DIANE

MONIKA

What more  can I say  they are all delightful this was such a fun swap so I must thank Monika for hosting and everyone else for participating.

As I had yet another die arrive at the weekend I have gone a little crazy on tags and managed to start creating this morning.I have done the backgrounds and I just need to embellish.

FISH, BOOKMARKS AND SPRING

Another set of ATCs arrived today from Annie in the USA. and they are delightful a whimsical set including  a Seahorse with wonderful eyelashes. Annie has used watercolour, coloured pencils, and iridescent medium.
I also received 5 bookmarks part of the swap hosted by Dove in the USA

They were from left to right

Ruth, Dove,Lynn,Monika and ?.Each one completely different .Thank you all.

Before I did anything else today I had to tackle this.

I did say I was going to try and keep it tidy .

Walking across the field today it really does feel as if spring is well and truly here. The grass is now growing at a very fast rate and one of the ASH trees at last has leaves emerging.

I also had a little visitor who was six months old today.
