I seem to have been very busy but with nothing interesting to write about for the last few days. I did receive my Owl ATCs from the swap which Rachel hosted over at milliande.
They were from left to right
Marie ,Brenda,Darcy
and the bottom two from Rachel.
All so different and individual.
I also have received my sketchbook for the sketchbook Project more about that another time.
I have finished my Journal page to send to Tina (milliande) it had to represent me in some way.
I created a double page spread with four opening pockets. For the background I have used scrapbook paper, Gesso ,Altered Original inks and artemio stamps. Each pocket opens to show a different wildlife subject.
I was quite pleased with how it turned out.
I also finished the two pages for the monthly journal swap (milliande ) hosted by Nina.
The prompts were
Make A Wish
I think this looks better in real life than it does in the photo.
I have embossed the background with a an embossing folder using my Big Shot and Ink. I then used gesso and ink to give a muted look .Rubber stamps, silver embossing powder, and sharpie pens finished the page.
The second page prompt was
Child-Like-Dreams
I used my favourite Altered Original inks and a embossing folder for the background.I searched through some 8,000 + images to find the right ones for this page .I used my favourite stamps and ranger stickles to finish.
I will finish with some random photos.
this wonderful wildlife haven plus another large landscaped lake and grounds is a few minutes walk from my house. It is within a very large complex of distribution warehouses .And although a few feet away hundreds of lorries pass by each day it has been inhabited by many wildfowl and other animals.
And sometimes big black Labs
Clematis in my garden
Honeysuckle
All are beautiful but Tina's page is WOW!
