BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND
So here in the U K we have had our last Bank Holiday of the year ,and for once the weather was quite good , perhaps not everywhere but down in beautiful Brixham Devon it was a great weekend.
Before we went on Friday I had time to make one more bag,and I am so pleased with this one as it is made from old jeans.
This was fun to make and a great way to recycle.
Now some photos of our weekend in DEVON.
This is the steam train which travels along the coast and passes the house where Agatha Christie lived.I took this just as the sun was setting, and the view from the train must have been beautiful.
Of course the wall was full of crabbers
all ages
The tides were very high this weekend and this television superstar came in for a lick of paint.
This trawler is appearing on the SKY ATLANTIC channel on Friday nights FISH TOWN.
This is the view from my window
You know you have a house by the sea when you find crabs by the front door.
we managed to fit in a walk to Berry Head up through the woods which I mentioned in an earlier post.
I still found time for a spot of shopping
I know I am making bags but I fell for this felt one which is a vibrant purple in real life.
A local group are redesigning a flower bed in a very quirky way.
I think this painting is wonderful
