I managed to make  more bags over the weekend .

the photos should have been taken in natural light ,not in the evening on a very dull day.As well as these three I made two more of this design and then as usual I was bored.

So although I have several books with designs decided to do my own thing ,a much simpler and quicker design to make up.

I have not decided how to do the handles or even if I like this design at all.

Over at

Kalona is hosting an inchie twinchie box swap ,and as the sewing machine was out I decided to make up some samples.

this looks quite odd but in the flesh it is purple fleece layered with organza and  stitched with a free arm.

this is denim layered with green cotton and top stitched

and these were cut from a felted cashmere sweater.Spot the seagull which is printed on muslin, and stitched in place.

Although they may look as if they are different shapes ,each one is a perfect twinchie thanks once again to my Sizzix.

I also made up a few flowers

  3. Mary I don't know where to begin! Everything is sooo pretty! Your bags are gorgeous as usual, and to tell you the truth, I LOVE the last one, even though you are not so fond of it. Then your flowers, leaves, inchies, journal pages, everything is just amazing! I always enjoy reading your posts because you give me so much inspiration. I feel like your work and mine are similar in a way, but then again, there is something different every time I see your creations, and what you make and how you make it always inspires me. :)
